    Frequently asked questions

How do I write a page range?

Use numbers and dashes separated by commas — for example 1-3,5,8-10 extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10. Page numbering starts at 1.

Will the extracted pages keep their quality?

Yes. Pages are copied into the new PDF exactly as they appear in the original — nothing is re-rendered or downscaled.

Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?

No. The PDF must be unlocked with its password in a reader first; encrypted files cannot be processed here.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. The split runs entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
