Your files never leave your browser

Most "free" PDF sites upload your documents to their servers — where they can be stored, scanned or leaked. SwiftPDF takes the opposite approach: every tool is a small program that runs on your own device.

  • No uploads, ever. Drag a file in and it stays in your browser's memory.
  • No accounts or tracking pixels watching what you convert.
  • Safe for sensitive documents — contracts, medical records, IDs and financial statements never touch our servers because we don't have servers for your files.
  • Fast even on slow connections — nothing travels anywhere, so large files process instantly.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is SwiftPDF really free?

Yes. Every tool on SwiftPDF is free to use with no account, no sign-up and no watermarks. The tools run on open web technology directly in your browser.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally on your device using JavaScript. Your files never leave your browser, which makes SwiftPDF a safe choice for sensitive documents like contracts or ID scans.

Which browsers are supported?

SwiftPDF works in all modern browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari — on desktop, tablet and phone. No installation or plugins are required.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server-side limit because nothing is uploaded. The practical limit is your device's memory; most PDFs up to a few hundred megabytes work fine.

Do the tools work offline?

Once a page has loaded, the tools themselves need no network connection, since all the work happens in your browser. The one exception is the first load of the small helper libraries.

Are my converted files watermarked?

Never. What comes out is a clean file — no branding, no watermarks, no "trial version" banners.
